Roland
Public Schools has received a grant for $18,427.00 under
the 1990 Carl D. Perkins Vocational and Applied Technology
Education Act to improve technology in the classroom. This
allocation is being used in the vocational technology classes
to upgrade existing computers and to purchase equipment.
The
school has three Vocational Educational Programs on campus.
These are partially funded by special state and federal
funds. Junior High and High School students can enroll in
Vocational Agriculture, Vocational Family and Consumer Sciences
and Technology Education. In addition, students in the tenth
through twelfth grades can attend half day school at the
Indian Capital Vo Tech in Sallisaw.
