Hispanic/Latino Scholarships

  1. Dr. Gary M. Moore Great Plan Scholarship will award one scholarship to an Oklahoma student who plans to pursue a major within the Oklahoma City University College of Arts and Sciences. The scholarship award amount is based on unfunded academic expense and can be valued up to $20,000. Applications must be submitted by Feb. 1, 2017. Apply online here.

  2. Carolyn Watson Opportunities Scholarship will award up to 10 scholarships to students graduating from rural-county high schools in Oklahoma. The award amount is based on unfunded academic expense and can be valued up to $10,000. Applications must be submitted by Feb. 15, 2017. Apply online here.

    Students attending high schools in the following Oklahoma counties are NOT eligible to apply: Comanche, Canadian, Cleveland, Grady, Lincoln, Logan, McClain, Oklahoma, Creek, Okmulgee, Osage, Pawnee, Rogers, Tulsa and Wagoner.

  3. Bennett Family Scholarship will award one scholarship to an Oklahoma graduating high school senior who is the child of a single parent with legal custody and sole responsibility for the applicant. Single is defined as legally separated, divorced, widowed, or never having been married or remarried. Applicants must pursue studies in education, science, technology, engineering and/or mathematics.   4. H. W. Almen/West OKC Rotary Scholarship awards approximately 20 scholarships to graduating seniors attending an Oklahoma high school. The scholarship is valued at $4,000 and can be used at a college, community college or technology center. Applications must be submitted by March 1, 2017. Apply online here.

  5. Hutchinson Scholarship is available to graduating seniors attending high school in counties located in western Oklahoma or southern Kansas. Applications must be submitted by March 1, 2017. Apply online here.

    Students attending high schools in the following counties ARE eligible to apply: Alfalfa, Beaver, Beckham, Blaine, Custer, Dewey, Ellis, Garfield, Grant, Harper, Major, Roger Mills, Texas, Washita, Wood and Woodward counties in Oklahoma, and Seward County in Kansas.

  6. Dr. Eugene S. Briggs Memorial Scholarship - Lions of Oklahoma will award 15 scholarships to graduating seniors attending an Oklahoma high school. Each scholarship is valued at $1,000 and can be used at any college or technology center in Oklahoma. Applications must be submitted by March 15, 2017. Apply online here.

  7. Oklahoma Youth with Promise Scholarship is available to students under the age of 25 who were in the Oklahoma DHS custody foster care system or to students who have aged out at the time of graduation from an Oklahoma high school or at the time of obtaining a GED. The scholarship award supports educational expenses such as tuition, fees and books and can be valued up to $2,000. Applications must be submitted by June 1, 2017. Apply online here.

  8. Pete & Lela Stavros Scholarship is available to Oklahoma graduating high school seniors who are the children or relatives of active or retired members of the Oklahoma State Firefighters Association. The scholarship award supports educational expenses such as tuition, fees and books and can be valued up to $1,000. Applications must be submitted by April 1, 2017. Apply online here.

  9. Ironworkers Local 584 Harvey A. Swift Scholarship is available to children and relatives of living and deceased members of Iron Workers Local 584. The scholarship award supports educational expenses such as tuition, fees and books and can be valued up to $2,000. Applications must be submitted by May 1, 2017. Apply online here.

  10. Orner-Cook Scholarship will award scholarships to graduating seniors attending an Oklahoma high school. The scholarship may be used for educational-related expenses such as tuition, fees and books at any accredited two-year, four-year or vocational technical nonprofit institution.   11. Oklahoma Goodwill Industries Abilities Scholarship will award one scholarship to a graduating senior attending an Oklahoma high school. The scholarship may be used for tuition, fees, books and specialized assistive equipment. Applications must be submitted by June 1, 2017. Apply online here.
