Towards the end of September Mrs. Wise's seventh and eighth grade Science Lab classes started learning about composting while studying hydroponics. They spent days collecting and preparing materials to combine inside a composting bin. They plan to use the compost dirt this upcoming spring to compare hydroponic growth to soil based growth.

Boss's Day
Roland Middle School wants to recognize and congratulate our 8th grade class. As of last Friday, October 6th, they have now earned over 1,000 badges in their Academic Advisory period! As a reward, Mrs. Colwell purchased each student a cake pop to enjoy. We are extremely proud of how hard our students are working and everything that they are already achieving this school year. It's a great day to be a Ranger and we feel very fortunate to have our amazing middle school staff!
