📌 OSSAA Dead Period: June 28 – July 6
Roland Public Schools will observe the OSSAA Dead Period beginning Friday, June 28 through Saturday, July 6. During this time, all athletic activities will be suspended, and RPS athletic facilities will be closed in accordance with OSSAA regulations.

Public Service Announcement: One-Time Hardship Waiver for Athletic Transfers
Families, the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association (OSSAA) offers a one-time hardship waiver for students who need to transfer schools and wish to remain athletically eligible during the 2025–2026 school year.
To be considered, families must submit a Student Transfer Application by Monday, July 15.

This annual conference brings together administrative teams from schools across the state, and we are proud that our district leaders were chosen to share their insight and experience with education professionals from all over Oklahoma. Alumni Spotlight: Dr. Brittany L. Hudson
Last Friday night, our graduating class of 2025 had the honor of hearing from guest speaker Dr. Brittany L. Hudson, a proud 2009 graduate of Roland High School and 13-year Ranger. Dr. Hudson has turned her small-town roots into a big-time mission.

Roland Elementary would like to inform parents and guardians that this Thursday, May 15th, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM, staff will be available on campus to assist with in-person enrollment for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a great opportunity for anyone who would like help completing the enrollment process. Parents and guardians should be prepared to bring the following items: proof of residency, CDIB card (if applicable), up-to-date shot records, birth certificate, parent or guardian ID, and the child’s social security card. Please note that Pre-K and Kindergarten classes are filling up quickly, so early enrollment is strongly encouraged. For those who prefer to enroll online, please visit our school website at www.rolandschools.org.
