Roland Middle School hosted our first ever Valentine Social Etiquette Dinner last week on Valentine's Day. With almost 100 students in attendance it ended up being more successful than we could have imagined. We hope it was a wonderful experience that our students learned from as well as enjoyed. We are currently working on having prints made at no charge to our students and should have them available by this upcoming Friday. We would especially like to thank Dr. Molly Brant for instructing our students on proper etiquette throughout the entire dinner. A huge thank you to Mrs. Colwell, Mrs. Huggins, Ms. Roberts and Ms. Upchurch for the long hours that they put into organizing, preparing, decorating, cooking and everything else that went into this event. Thank you to our middle school teachers, Mrs. Armer, Mrs. Boswell, Ms. Floyd, Mr. Greer, Mrs. Hamlin and Mrs. Sutterfield, for volunteering their time to help out with any and everything needed. Lastly, thank you to our secretary for taking pictures and members of Zion Missionary Baptist Church for selflessly volunteering their time on Valentine's Day for our students.
