It’s the beginning of a new school year and the science teachers are thrilled! Mrs. Cole’s 8th grade and Mrs. Sutterfield’s 7th and 8th grade students have been learning the steps of the scientific method. What other way to learn than by doing an investigation. Using the steps of the scientific method, the students made an educated guess on how many pennies they thought their boat would hold before sinking. The student the tested their theory. The teachers took this opportunity to connect real world experience with the classroom concepts.

Roland Middle School would like to acknowledge the middle school lady ranger softball team on an outstanding season. Keep an eye out for these future stars as they work their way through the lady ranger softball program.

Parents,
As we continue to increase our campus safety policies, we must make changes to how we operate on a daily basis. Starting tomorrow (9/22/22), we will no longer be allowing parents to walk their children inside the school building. Students can be dropped off at the front door, where a staff member will assist the students from that point. Again, this is being done for the safety of our campus. We appreciate your understanding and help in this matter.
