As of tomorrow, Wednesday, November 11th Roland Middle School will move to a virtual setting for all middle school students. Please check the Facebook page, NEWS section of the app or website for more information. Students will return to in person instruction on Thursday, November 19, 2020. All other buildings on campus will remain in person as normal.

The Brooks and Thompson agency has partnered with Roland High School to bring safe driving awareness, and in the process, has provided our football team with brand new uniforms to be unveiled at tonight's game against Panama. We are all so excited to see the new look! This will be an exciting, color-out event, so show your school spirit and help us pack the stands in Ranger Orange. Kick-off is at 7pm.

High School Students and Parents,
Due to our current circumstances, we have rescheduled picture retakes for Friday, December 11. There WILL NOT be any picture retakes tomorrow October 28.

PSA: All children age 18 and under are eligible to receive free breakfast and lunch daily. Emails may be sent the night prior to pick up or morning of by 6:30 AM. Adults meals are available for purchase as well. Prices for adult meals are Breakfast $2.16 and Lunch $3.95. Please email bgreen@rolandschools.org with the total numbers of meals needed for pickup at the MS/HS cafeteria. Elementary students wanting to use or already using this service may add other children in the home to their orders and continue pick up at the Lower Elem. Roland Schools is asking that all sports equipment i.e. footballs, basketballs, skateboards, bikes etc. be left at home and please remain away from the orange fenced areas.

Congratulations to our new National Honor Society inductees for the 2020/2021 school year:
Makyla Abdullah, Cassie Akins, Lana Cannon, Jaxon Fouts, Abigail Harvell, Jaycee Hallum, Cambry Hull, Cameron Hull, Lacy Long, Cameron O'Neal, Landon Smith, and Matthew Whittenburg.
The induction ceremony will be held Tuesday, November 10th at 6:30pm in the HS Commons. We will practice social distancing and masks will be required upon entry.


Elementary students attended the Stilwell Cross Country meet. Students that received medals are as follows:
Tommy Greschke (4th Grade) - 7th Place
Austin Benham (5th Grade) - 10th Place
Karsyn Serjeant (4th Grade) - 10th Place

Parents: This is a reminder that Parent-Teacher Conferences are Oct. 8 from 4-7 (students have a regular school day ) then again Friday, Oct. 9 from 8-11 (no school for students). To allow for social distancing, we request that only 1 parent per student attend (no students) and masks are required. Please note that you can schedule a phone conference by emailing your child’s teachers. Teacher emails can be found on this website. Thank you for your continued support!

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held Thursday, Oct. 8 from 4PM-7PM and Friday, Oct 9, from 8 AM-11AM. The MS plan to allow for Covid-19 regulations is as follows: Only 1 parent per student will be allowed to attend. No students will be allowed to attend. A mask will be required to enter the building and temperatures will be taken. You will also be required to answer a brief questionnaire in regard to the coronavirus. Chairs will be located outside the teachers' classrooms spaced 6 ft apart. Due to space limitations, only a certain amount of parents will be allowed in the MS at one time. Everyone will be asked to maintain social distance. Meetings with the teachers will be limited to 5 minutes each. Because of the virus, no supper or refreshments will be served.
